Because the development of hitting is fundamental to the overall success of the BFA fastpitch program, BFA is offering to assist families in offsetting some of the cost of the specialized training that will help make a player more successful.
Upon our “Player Development” board member’s approval, BFA will reimburse 50% of one-on-one coaching costs for a single player up to a maximum of $50 per year. The calendar year for reimbursement shall begin November 1st and run through the following October 31st. The first reimbursement payment would be after the player is placed on the roster and playing for a BFA summer team (approximately June). If the player elects not to play on a BFA team during the summer season, then no reimbursement payments will be paid.
The reimbursement is for one-on-one instruction and does not apply to costs incurred for clinics or seminars. Parents of players that are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity are asked to submit a signed application to the “Player Development” Board Member. They will notify the applicant of the results. The intent of the application process is to assist the Board in budgeting reimbursement expense and not to limit player development opportunities.
